Special Educational Needs

Committed to your child’s success

In an increasingly competitive society, youth with special educational needs are more than ever at risk of being left behind.

Often it is the case that something that the system as a whole sees as a problem can be a turned into a source of energy, pride, and identity.

When working with you or children with special educational needs, we take a holistic approach in which we work with other professionals involved in a particular case (school teachers, counselors, therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists) and help to develop strategies focused not only on academics but on building confidence and fortifying strengths.

Additionally, we look at each individual case to find multiple approaches that can help in a given situation. Often the goals of this type of counseling can incorporate elements that go beyond the academic and touch on the social and family aspects of education that are no less important than schooling itself.
