1999-2001 Sex Offender Specific Treatment Program for court-ordered adult sex offenders referred by the Department of Probation and Parole. Program includes psycho-education, individual and family therapy, and long-term group therapy. Emphasis on relapse prevention and eventual family reunification. Psychosexual Evaluations and assessments.
1999-2001 Contracted provider with Clark County Department of Family and Youth Services. Provide Sex Offender Specific Treatment Program for adjudicated youthful sex offenders, including psycho-education, individual and family therapy, and long-term group therapy. Victim Witness Assistance provider under the District Attorney’s Office. Provide therapy for victims of sexual assault.
1998-1999 Mental Health Counselor II, State of Nevada Youth Parole Bureau. In-depth assessment and evaluation of adjudicated adolescents and their families, with recommendations for correctional placement & post-incarceration treatment. Trainer for Clark County Detention Staff. Training topics include mental health issues such as: Suicide, Substance abuse, Addiction, The Criminal Mind, Gang Issues, Identifying Mental Disorders in Juveniles, Working With Mentally Challenged Youth, Gender Conflict and other Sexual Issues, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
